Peter Trascott is a former British Minister of Energy and an expert on contemporary Russia and the former Soviet Union. From 2006 to 2007, Peter Trascott was appointed as the former Minister of Energy of the United Kingdom, the spokesman of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the House of Lords, and the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Defence. From 1994 to 1999, he was appointed as the MEP of the European Parliament, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Defense. At the same time, he is also a member of the delegation of the European Parliament to handle relations with the Russian Federation. Peter Trascott was responsible for drafting a large number of foreign and defense security policies.
