Shahi Tarur

Dr. Shahitarur is an Indian politician and a member of the Terifantaran constituency council in Kerala. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Standing Committee on External Affairs of the Parliament. Prior to 2007, he had been a professional official at the United Nations, and in 2001, he was promoted to the position of Under-Secretary-General for Communications and Public Information at the United Nations. In addition, he also held the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs. He is also a prolific writer, columnist, journalist, and human rights advocate. Since 1981, he has created 16 best-selling novels and non fiction works, all centered around India and its history, culture, cinema, politics, society, and foreign policy.
