Scott Goodstein is the CEO of a leading digital company, Revolution Messaging, known for overseeing the digital strategy operations and operations of Bernie Sanders' 2016 presidential campaign. Sanders' campaign broke all expectations of American political experts, overcoming the huge gap in popularity and support, and ultimately Sanders was not only able to compete with Hillary, but also raised more donations than Hillary. Goodstein's company organized online fundraising, digital marketing, branding, email, text messaging, website development, online videos and photos, image sharing, online stores, and social media strategies for Sandel. He also co initiated an event where artists cheered Sandel, with over 150 artists, musicians, and cultural leaders actively participating throughout the entire event. Revolution Messaging is deeply rooted in the values of progress, selectively collaborating with left-wing led issue-based movements, and providing services and support during times of crisis, such as the Water Crisis in Flint, Michigan, Ferguson Action, Lady Parts Justice, and other social justice causes. In 2008, Goodstein served as the External Online Director of Obama's external network, responsible for developing social networking platforms for the campaign and establishing the first political mobile marketing mix of SMS, RBT, mobile video, and mobile apps. Goodstein also designed lifestyle marketing strategies for the campaign, as well as street promotional materials needed in various campaign states. Before working for Obama, he worked on the Democratic Legislative Election Committee and the Democratic Congressional Election Committee, and successfully organized a series of political movements.
