Nicolas Sarcozy

Sarkozy was born on January 28, 1955 in Paris and graduated from the Paris School of Politics with a Master's degree in Law. Sarkozy was elected as the chairman of the ruling party, the People's Movement Alliance, in November 2004. He was re appointed as the Minister of the Interior in May 2005, and on May 6, 2007, he was elected as the ninth and sixth president of the Fifth Republic of France. He officially took office on May 16.
