Ed Butler is the Executive Chairman of Salamanca Risk Management. SRM is a specialized risk management company that focuses on enterprise and private security and risk management solutions. From 2008 to 2010, served as the Managing Director of Ed Crisis Corporation. In this position, he suggests companies that invest in and operate risks in emerging markets around politics, society, and communities, including designing and providing customized community relationship strategies. Previously, the Education Department worked for 24 years and spent most of his time in the British military there, serving SAS22. He left one of the youngest and most respected officers of his generation. He has received high praise from British commanders for commanding SAS during more than 9\/11 periods in southern Afghanistan before 2006 during battles during breaks. Ed has unique tactical and strategic experience in counterinsurgency, crisis management, and peace-building activities, utilizing coercion and social development to leverage political and social change, improve quality of life, and increase community consent. He has led frontline operations at the headquarters level, including Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Sierra Leone. The Education Department also has special skills and experience in adversarial analysis, political tactical mediation, negotiation, and complex project management. He has obtained honorary degrees in politics and international relations from the University of Exeter and the University of Cranfield in Military Technology and Defense Research, MAS,. From 2003 to 2005, he directed the Advanced Command and Staff courses at the UK National Defense Academy.
