He served at the Japanese Ministry of Finance for more than 20 years, particularly famous for serving as the Deputy Minister of Finance to handle international affairs. He has extensive and valuable experience in government departments, particularly in the field of international finance. He is renowned internationally for his outstanding ability in policy formulation and consensus building, and has been awarded the title of Mr. Yen for his impact on the money market. He is the main advisor of the Democratic Party of Japan and an influential ideological leader in Japanese politics.
