Edwitzer is the longest serving Technology Minister in the UK, serving in the David Cameron administration from 2010 to 2016. During his tenure as Minister, Weize witnessed the rapid coverage of fixed and mobile broadband, and helped the UK become a leader in technology investment by collaborating with Google and Facebook, and supporting the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Under his efforts, the development speed of the UK's creative industry is three times faster than the overall economic development. Wieser was the longest serving Minister of Culture in the UK from 2010 to 16, during which one of his main tasks was the National Museum. He supported the free opening of museums, revolutionized British cultural heritage, and released the first cultural policy white paper in over 50 years. He also introduced a tax deduction policy to support the development of theaters, museums, and orchestras. Weize is not only a member of parliament, but also an advisor to LionTree and multiple technology startups, among which LionTree is the first digital new media TMT acquisition agency in the United States.
