Dr. Satsuya Iida is the director of the Japan Institute for Sustainable Energy Policy, a non-profit independent research institution located in Tokyo that focuses on sustainable energy policies. He is a member of the Nuclear Accident Protection Committee and the Japanese Government Energy Research Committee. He is known as Mr. Nemoto in Japan and has been one of Japan's top opinion leaders for the past five years. He advocates for a new generation of energy policies, especially renewable energy. In addition to holding positions at the Sustainable Energy Policy Research Institute, he has also been appointed as a member of the Energy Policy and Renewable Energy Policy Committee of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Trade; At the same time, he is also a member of the National Environmental Council of the Ministry of Environment.
