Norwegian economist, winner of the 2004 Nobel Prize in Economics, currently serves as a professor at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as an associate researcher at the Delas Reserve Bank and the Cleveland Reserve Bank. Kidland's research focuses on economic cycles, monetary and fiscal policies, and labor economics.
