Joseph Stiglitz

Nobel laureate in economics in 2001, professor of American economists at Columbia University, professor at Columbia University, and chairman of the Policy Dialogue Initiative at Columbia University. He won the John Bates Clark Prize and the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2001. His important contributions led to the IPCC winning the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. Formerly served as a member and chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers to the President of the United States, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of the World Bank, and Chairman of the International Economic Association. The January 2015 issue of Vanity Fair magazine in the United States published his article \The Chinese Century Starts in 2015\, which attracted worldwide attention and controversy.
