Diane Weimadrid is a best-selling author and Chinese expert, as well as a renowned professor at multiple business schools in the United States and the United Kingdom. She gave speeches around the world on the development of modern China. She is the protagonist of BBC documentaries Peschardts People and German TV 3Sat Kalturzeit documentaries. Diane was born in Beijing and went with her parents to a labor camp far from the city when she was young, where she spent most of her childhood.
