Linda Yueh is the BBC's chief financial correspondent and host of Talking Business with Linda Yueh. She is considered a leading global expert on the Chinese economy. Linda is an adjunct Professor of Economics at St Edmund's College, Oxford and London Business School, and a visiting scholar at the School of Economics, Peking University. She runs the China Development Centre (CGC) at St Edmund's College, Oxford, and is a partner in the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) and the Centre for International Affairs, Diplomacy and Strategic Studies (IDEAS) at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to that, she was a corporate attorney at Bovis & Weiss, a leading law firm in the United States, where she was responsible for the New York, Beijing and Hong Kong markets. She was previously a financial editor at Bloomberg TV, where she hosted Economic Edge. Linda is an extensive author and editor of the Routledge Economic Growth and Development series, one of the world's most influential academic publishing houses. Her books include Macroeconomics, co-authored with Graeme Chamberlin, which is recommended by the UK government as an economics textbook; Globalisation and Economic Growth in China, with Yang Yao; Globalisation and economic Growth in China; The Law and Economics of Globalisation: New Challenges for a World in Flux, Ed.
