Gordon Hewitt is a renowned professor of business administration who taught as a visiting professor at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in the field of international trade and corporate strategy. His areas of interest include global competition, corporate strategy and innovation, and value-added generation for senior leadership groups. He has frequently collaborated with CK Prahalad in the past twenty years of work, possessing cutting-edge ideas in corporate competitiveness and governance. Gordon was awarded the International Outstanding Teacher - Global Best Educator Award in 2007 by the American Academy of Management, which includes renowned scholars and consultants from around the world. In addition, he has received many academic honors, including honorary professor at the School of Social Sciences at the University of Glasgow and outstanding professor of corporate strategy at Duke Enterprise Education. He has served in many large companies, including executive positions at the CEO or board member level for over 25 years.
