At that time, he was a front desk attendant at the Disney Contemporary Resort in Orlando, USA, and participated in the Walt Disney World University project in this capacity. In 1991, Cockerell graduated from Boston University. As soon as he graduated, he moved to Florida and participated in the Disneyland Paris Management Trainee Program. In January 1992, three months before the opening of Disneyland Paris, he was transferred to France. He worked there for five years and held various management positions. Cockerell has held various management and administrative operations positions at Walt Disney World Resort, including work related to theme parks and resort hotels. At the same time, he served as the sixth vice president of the Magic Kingdom resort located in Florida, United States, since the opening of Disney World in 1971.
