James Blunt, born James Hillill Blunt on 22 February 1974 in Tidworth, Wiltshire, England, is an English pop singer and former reconnaissance officer in the British Army, who graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in sociology. In 1999, he participated in the Kosovo War. He retired from the British Army in 2002 and began a musical career. On October 11, 2004, he released his first solo album Back to Bedlam. On November 3, 2005, she won the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best New Artist. On February 14, 2006, the song You re Beautiful won the 26th BRIT Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and Best Pop Solo Artist. In November 2007, he received five nominations for the 49th Grammy Awards for his songs such as "You re Beautiful". His second album All The Lost Souls was released on September 18, 2007.
