The winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, a member of the National Academy of Sciences in the United States, and an honorary member of the Royal Society of Chemistry in the UK, won the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for creating multi-scale models of complex chemical systems. He and two other award-winning scientists established theoretical models based on quantum mechanics, classical mechanics, and mixed quantum classical mechanics, and used computer simulation methods to study the motion of protein molecules and the mechanism of enzyme catalyzed reactions., The work done by the winners of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry allowed chemists to uncover the mysterious world of chemistry with the help of computers: he completed the combination of quantum chemistry and classical physics. After obtaining a postdoctoral degree from Harvard University, he joined the Weizmann Institute as a senior scientist and associate professor, and also served as a researcher at the MRC Molecular Biology Laboratory in Cambridge. Afterwards, he joined the University of Southern California and is now an outstanding professor of chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Southern California.
